God wants us to demonstrate faith and courage in our day to day living. Men and women of God in the bible who lived this way had great victories in their time. Courageous people get the job done!! Courage has nothing to do with your physic, looks, money, possessions, success, job, nationality. Being courageous demonstrates strong faith in God by believing what He has said to us in the bible. Joshua 1:9(NLT) This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

Courageous people step up in great faith when they find themselves in challenging situations. They study the word of God, believe and put it into practice. Courageous Christians will not miss church out of choice. They find alternative ways to get to church even in difficult varius weather conditions etc. If the bus hasnt turned up, courageous Christions will not take it as an opportunity to miss church but will instead ring a friend/fellow believer to give them a lift etc. because courageous people are also great communicators.

Courageous Christians will dicuss any hindrances with their church leaders to find ways to continue moving forward through obstacles in their Christian walk. Our journey as believers can encounter persecution. When we think of being persecuted may be some think of people being burned or imprisoned. But there are many other forms of persecution on believers: Some people are teased or mocked or ridiculed because of their Christian beliefs. Some have been overlooked for promotion at workplaces because they are Christians etc. But courageous Christians know that a righteous person may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all; Ps 34:19; John 16:33.

Courageous peolpe believe they'll come out of their trials/troubles better than they were before! So the Lord blessed Job in the second half of his life even more than in the beginning. For now he had 14,000 sheep, 6,000 camels, 1,000 teams of oxen, and 1,000 female donkeys. Job 42:12 And lastly but not least, courageous Christians are strong believers of God's protection over their lives. For the LORD watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked leads to destruction. Ps 1:6
